Objective: The Animal Aide Association of St. Thomas-Elgin is a non-profit organization that helps abandoned cats and dogs find new homes. They needed to recruit more volunteers in order to find care for a growing number of animals.
Solution: In an effort to keep costs down, I designed a two colour, rather than a full colour, brochure. To attract volunteers I created a brochure that initiated an emotional response. Reading about “happy endings” and seeing the furry faces of cats or dogs gazing from the page appeals to would-be volunteers and encourages them to 'help a friend in need'.
